Please read through carefully and fully.
 
1. *Deposit and Cancellation Policy:*
   – A non-refundable deposit may be required upon booking your appointment.
   – If you cancel without 24 hours notice and do not reschedule, the deposit is non-refundable.
   – No refund is given if your car is not able to be tuned due to faults or being previously tuned.
   – There will be an additional £50 charge for a health check and diagnostic if applicable.
 
2. *Finance Option:*
   – If using the finance option, it’s set up with a deposit before the appointment.
   – In case your car can’t be tuned, a £50 charge covers labour and diagnostic costs.
   – Contact the financing company directly for the contract to be cancelled, your deposit will be refunded.
 
3. *Vehicle Condition and your Responsibility:*
   – Confirm your vehicle maintenance is upto date and to manufacturer specifications.
   Acknowledge your vehicle is in a road worthy condition, including being taxed and MOT’d for the purpose of road test.
   -Allow the tuning to be done at your risk, absolving MHVD TUNING of responsibility for any failures.
   – MHVD TUNING provides a lifetime warranty on the ECU software only.
 
4. *Mechanical Failures and Warranty:*
   -Wear-prone parts like clutch, DPF, turbo, duel mass flywheel, boost hoses, intercoolers, gearboxes etc., are not covered under any form of warranty.
   – MHVD TUNING doesn’t accept liability for mechanical failures before, during, or after tuning.
   – No warranty is offered for any modified vehicle components.
 
5. *Remapping Process Risks:*
   – Remapping without a thorough health check is at your own risk.
   – No warranty implied for components other than the ECU software.
   – You the customer is responsible for the state of your vehicle prior to the remap.
 
6. *Remap Process Details:*
   – Vehicles with existing remaps are subject to a programming fee.
   – OBD remap at the regular price, Bench remap incurs upto an extra £100 charge due to time needed to remove an ECU and set it up on the bench.
 
7. *Customer Awareness:*
   – MHVD TUNING does not have information on your vehicle’s history or maintenance schedule.
   – Unreported issues not identified during the pre-health check are the customer’s responsibility.
   – Acceptance of any damage to serviceable parts before, during, or after the remap process is required.
 
It is crucial to thoroughly understand and agree to these terms before proceeding with any services from MHVD TUNING.
MHVD TUNING does not recommend pops and bangs or hard cut limiters for any vehicle due to the potential engine damage it can cause. These features will only be added at your request and entirely at your own risk.
 
You must report any issues within 7 days of the remap. Slanderous activity without evidence on or off social media is prohibited. Failure to adhere may result in legal action by MHVD Tuning.
 
*Warranty:*
– Lifetime warranty on all software, free diagnostic scan and adjustments to the map if required.
– For in-house service, return the car to us or a fee may be charged for us to come to you .
 
*Please Note:*
– The warranty is with the car and does not transfer to the new owner should the vehicle be sold.
– Proof of purchase (receipt) is required for warranty validation, failure to prove may incur charges.
– Non-map-related faults if the diagnostics shows a fault which is not map related you will be charged £50 for the diagnosis.
– Going to another tuner or garage voids the warranty as our software may be tampered with.
 
*Money Back Guarantee:*
– We will offer a full refund only if there is a fault with the software and this cant be rectified. The vehicle must come back to us to allow us ample opportunity to rectify the fault or return your vehicle back to standard before you receive a refund under our guarantee terms and conditions. We will not refund if a fault has occurred on your vehicle that is proven not to be down to our software
– MHVD TUNING is not liable for any mechanical parts failure.
 

Return to Stock file will cost £75 (if we have tuned your car, You must provide us with proof the vehicle was tuned by us & any modification to the tuned file will cost £175 minimum) price may vary depending on the changes requested. MHVD TUNING is not responsible for any mechanical parts failure.

ROLLING ROAD DISCLAIMER

Note:– all procedures tests and disclaimers apply to MH Vehicle Diagnostics And Tuning Ltd. Please read this document carefully and sign the agreement below. No rolling road tests will be performed without this signed agreement to the terms and conditions.

 Power Run: – This consists of carrying out a full throttle power test to determine bhp and torque at the wheels and calculated flywheel figures, at the same time where possible we will monitor boost, fuelling using wideband lambda sensor and knock detection.

Full Dyno Session: – Checks carried out to ignition operation, fuelling system, engine management fault codes and live data, adjustments made where possible .Carry out a full throttle power test to determine bhp and torque at the wheels and calculated flywheel figures, at the same time where possible we will monitor boost, fuelling using wideband lambda sensor and Knock detection.

 Pre Test Conditions: – The customer must make sure the vehicle is in a fit state to dyno test: – fluid levels are topped up oil, water, tyres are in good condition and correctly inflated, the cooling system must be free from defects and functioning correctly, the exhaust must be gas tight as we need to take samples from the tail pipe and leaks will dilute these readings. Please ensure an adequate level of fuel of the type that you would normally use in the vehicle especially where the vehicle is booked in for mapping as large quantities’ can be consumed. For the purposes of accurate performance testing and best results you must be satisfied that all relevant components are in sound condition , for example , spark plugs, injectors, turbochargers, ignition system should all be sound otherwise the results may not represent the true performance of the vehicle. The rolling road may of course be used to establish the cause or source of the problem.

Securing the car: – There must be means to attach securing straps to the vehicle if not we may not be able to power test it .In these circumstances where we have spent the normal time on the rolling road the agreed charges will still apply. Please note cars that are extremely low or with body kits fitted may have problems with clearance if you think your car may be a problem please consult us first.

Safety:– The customer must conform to the safety instructions given by MH Vehicle Diagnostics And Tuning Ltd, particularly regarding safe distances and noise protection , please observe safety notices and no entry signs. Failure to adhere to safety instructions will result in immediate cessation of any rolling road testing until the testing area has been made safe.

 Time keeping: – Please arrive BEFORE your scheduled tuning appointment time especially if you need to unload a vehicle from a trailer and make it ready to test. Our time is as valuable as your time, so please respect that…arriving on time also allows us to spend more time actually tuning your car, rather than waiting for it to arrive. Rolling Road Appointments: – As the rolling road is extremely expensive to run we have to ensure that all appointments are filled. All while you wait rolling road appointments, we take full payment as a booking fee up front on a credit or debit card to secure the allotted time slot this is non refundable although genuine cases where you cannot make it will be held open for one further slot at our discretion.

Rolling road club days: – we take a booking fee of £125.00 to secure a Saturdays rolling road testing or we can arrange payment via PayPal. If you cannot make an appointment please give as much notice as possible at least one working day.

 Agreement: – As an intending customer of the rolling road testing, I have read and understood and accept the conditions and responsibilities stated above. I further accept that the rolling road tests carried out at my own risk and that MH Vehicle Diagnostics And Tuning Ltd and the respective personal cannot be held responsible for any vehicle or mechanical damage or failure.

Damage To Our Equipment:-  Should you vehicle fail on the dyno you will be liable for any costs involved in cleaning or repairing any equipment that gets damaged in the process.
